{ Help Needed Malaysian Lovelies! }

Okay so I'm going to be heading to Malaysia in a month or two and I don't want to stay in KL for more then a couple of nights so I want to stay somewhere else in Malaysia for a couple of nights. I want to stay somewhere that isn't commercial. I want to stay within the locals.....I'm looking at Kuala Terengganu at the moment but also tossing between Kota Kinabalu and Penang. Please if you have any other suggestions that you would think is a better option please let me know or which one of the above is the best. Also if you have any tips for accommodation that would be fantastic also!! Looking forward to hearing from you out there in cyberspace.

{ Botanics & Me }

One thing I love to do with my family during the warmer months is going on picnics. Light lunch followed with cake and Turkish tea......nothing could be better

{ Gewurzhaus }

Anyone that knows me knows that I'm a sucker for pretty packaging! I tend to like unusual packaging but anything that catches my eye tends to influence my purchases. I came across this small store on Brunswick St in Melbourne that I must have missed on all my previous visits, however the smell that emanated from this store drove me to wander in and explore a little more. I fell in love with the whole concept of the store. The store Gewurzhaus is owned by Germans and the name literally translates to Spice House. They have all sorts of wonderful spices, teas, sugars, salts and the like in containers that you scoop and place into this gorgeous paper bags. I was sold!!!! It was very difficult for me to decide on what to buy but as you can see I ended up with very Indian orientated products. I will definitely be visiting this store on a regular basis.

So for anyone out there who's been thinking of giving me a gift.....give a thought to the packet it comes in :)
