Had a gorgeous day in Melbourne yesterday. Started it off in the Melbourne Museum saying hello to the star "Pharlap" the dino's and the beautiful butterflies. Then I moved onto IMAX and watched a breathtakingly beautiful documentary titled "Born to Be Wild".
Here is the description off the IMAX website:
Born to be Wild 3D is an inspired story of love, dedication and the remarkable bond between humans and animals. This film documents orphaned orangutans and elephants and the extraordinary people who rescue and raise them — saving endangered species one life at a time.
Born To Be Wild 3D is a heartwarming adventure transporting moviegoers into the lush rainforest's of Borneo with world-renowned primatologist Dr. Birute Galdikas, and across the rugged Kenyan Savannah with celebrated elephant authority Dame Daphne Sheldrick, as they and their team rescue, rehabilitate and return these incredible animals back to the wild.
I have to say that it has inspired me to make the journey to both these places with my three boys. Inshallah one day
If there is anyone who follows my blog from the Borneo area or surrounds who knows about the Rawa Kuno Legacy Forest or who may have even been there, I would LOVE to hear from you. Please email me at aazaad_@hotmail.com

Btw. I LOVE IMAX documentaries at museums. They're always so enjoyable and visually stunning. I haven't seen one in forever, but you've inspired me to go and check one out again. There's a great one here about The Human Race...maybe I'll go check it out =), hehe.
