Last night I headed off to Fitzroy Gardens where they were having their three part "Sunset Series" and it was African music time!! I love this sort of stuff it's right up my alley and my husband knows it. So usually with these types of things I'll sit far back and just enjoy it from afar but not last night!! I made the family sit right up front so I could get a good "view" if you know what I mean! Hahaha. They started off with a dance class for all and heaps joined it and REALLY got into it. I must say I had a really good laugh at a lot of peoples expense. They finished off with a few musical performances coupled with dancing. It was the perfect night for it mixed with a light picnic meal. It was super relaxing and I left happy and content.

Hijab House is the very first Hijabi friendly business to have a bricks and mortar store in a shopping centre located in Sydney Australia. Really we need to be proud of them for such a great achievement. And the whopping great hijabi mural on the front in my opinion was a fab touch!

But my favourite I think is the fact that we can buy clothing that looks more mainstream whilst being modest. I'm sick of always having to think to myself "now I love this, but how am I going to hijabify that??". Well Hijab House does it all for you!!!! They have outfits put together ready for you to try and buy. Voila shopping made easy!!! Their website claims "Our aim at Hijab House is to provide you with quality co-ordinated outfits that you will want to wear everyday."

Hijab House also provides online shopping, so all you gorgeous international followers can go to their website and order, and the best part is their shipping fees are capped. No exorbitant shipping fees, which I know often turns me off shopping online.

The new range Ecuador Rose is the best by far, they have taken inspiration from some of the worlds top designers including Jill Sander and Gucci. The clothing is cool classic pieces that in my opinion can be worn season after season.

Now the most important question is when oh when are they coming to Melbourne???

So it seems I'm wearing a few tie dyed pieces and in all honesty I think I'm a little late for this style, as in it was last seasons fad (l think!) But that just shows that I'm not one to follow fashion religiously. I don't need to wear what is "in" I just wear what l like, how l like, when l like.

This damn label is ruining my life!!! I can't see past their designs....quite literally. My sister are quite right when they said I'm sick in the head. I LOVE their designs, they are hijabi friendly (on most occasions) and just about always have a special feature which really makes their clothes stand out in the crowd.

{ Road Tripping....Leeches and All }

As I mentioned in an earlier post that Summer Break means LOTS of road trips. Well I wasn't kidding. La La Falls was the destination. We were all excited to get to the falls only to discover it was a leech infested place!! I can tell you I was not happy. My poor Master Six was the one who faired poorly, with six leeches removed from his little body. He was in such a state, he just wanted to go home and wash. I don't blame him. Other then that awful encounter the day was a lovely one with interesting discoveries along the way. Master Nine nabbed himself a skink and decided he wanted to keep it as a pet (I put an end to that idea quick smart), three ducks that followed us around, and finally La La Falls!!
