{ The Forty Rules of Love, Aesop & Moi }

It is a regular occurrence for me to go on long drives especially when I am visiting my parents. The drive there is approximately one hour long. The days I have a chauffeur (eherm......Mr Husband) I always like to take along some entertainment. Today was the best drive by far. I had the perfect music, the perfect book and just the right amount of sunshine streaming through.

The book "The Forty Rules of Love" is an interesting one indeed. I am only a third of the way through and it has captivated me already. It is set in two worlds - well sort of. A lady "Ella" has landed a new job as a Literary Agent and she is reading a book (in the book!!) which is set in Konya (Turkey) in the thirteenth century. It is about Sufism and Rumi and of course LOVE. It is absolutely wonderful being taken back to the thirteenth century even if it is fiction. There are many quotes in the book which I just love and are such wonderful bits of advice. I'm sure everyone will find a quote which applies to them. I have been busy scribbling these quotes down in my notebook whilst reading.

Here is one that I thought was something we should all remember.

"Try not to resist the changes that come your way. Instead let life live through you. And do not worry that your life is turning upside down. How do you know that the side you are used to is better than the one to come?"

Whilst reading this book I had my wonderfully relaxing Aesop CD (105 minutes) which was gifted to me playing in the background. It has many songs from Turkey so it all gelled together wonderfully.

We made a pit stop at a Turkish Restaurant where we feasted on Turkish bread and dips of varying colours.

Even though I am of Turkish background it's not often that my family get to experience my beautiful culture. Today was an exception.

It just makes me that little bit more determined to visit my country.

{ Moi }

I haven't worn a decent skirt in a while only because pants are always heaps easier when your doing the school run and chasing two crazy boys. I wore this outfit today and asked Master Nine if it looked okay. He responded by saying "mummy it looks like your wearing pants that are pulled up too high, like Harry High Pants!!!!"

{ Camberwell Market }

Beautiful warm sunny weather like this on a autumn day calls for outdoor activities!!! I went to the Camberwell market and picked up a few goodies. The vibe there is something else, there are heaps of stalls, some food, and also performers. Really something for everyone.

{ Nursery x 2 }

Moi trying to haul myself up the lil hill. Said yeah I know I got puffed.....

My boys were snap happy on this day so they did capture a few great shots. Apart from the annoying buzzing bees circling us and our food the day was perfect!

{ Nursery Time }

Enjoyed a gorgeous day with the family at a equally gorgeous nursery. It's a nursery, gift shop and cafe all rolled into one. My boys loved it as much as I did. We took lots of pics so I'll split them into two posts.
